One-On-One Instruction with Fencing Calgary Coaches
Private Lessons provide focused one‑on‑one instruction tailored to each fencer’s goals, experience level, and stage of development. These sessions allow coaches to work closely with athletes on individual technique, tactics, and confidence, supporting both recreational and competitive fencing goals.
Private Lessons are open to all fencers, of all ages and levels - children, youth, teens, and adults are welcome.
Whether you are new to fencing, returning after time away, or working toward competition readiness, Private Lessons offer personalized coaching in a supportive and athlete‑centred environment.
ÉPEE PRIVATE LESSONS
Épée is the primary weapon focus for Private Lessons at Fencing Calgary. These lessons are suitable for both beginners looking to build strong foundations and experienced fencers seeking to refine technique and tactics.
Épée Private Lessons support development in:
- Technical precision and control
- Distance management and timing
- Tactical patience and decision‑making
- Confidence in both training and competition settings
Private lessons are delivered in a private Lesson group format, with 3 athletes scheduled per hour – each receiving 20 minutes of dedicated private lesson time with a coach. Private lesson groups are scheduled in 6-week sessions from September-June and flexible mini 3-week sessions from June-September.. Space and time are limited so it is recommended to register in advance of each 6 week session.
